BUYING & CARE

Working with finished arrangements

Four things worth knowing before you buy.

Is the vase included?

It depends on the piece, so check the product page — table arrangements come with their own vessel, while bouquets and posies are the flowers only, tied and shaped to drop into a vase you already own.

Does it look finished from every angle, or just the front?

Every side — these are built to sit away from a wall, on a table or an island where people walk all the way round it, not staged for a single photo angle. If a spot is against a wall, that is the one place you can afford a thinner side.

Does it need shaping when it arrives?

A little. Everything ships compressed, so out of the box it will look flatter and more one-sided than it did in the photograph. Work outwards from the centre, easing each stem back to where it wants to sit and turning the fullest heads to face slightly different directions. Five minutes is usually enough.

How do you clean a finished arrangement?

Work from the outside in with a soft brush or a hairdryer on cold, rather than trying to reach the centre first — dust settles heaviest on the outer, most exposed stems. Do not submerge the base or the vase filler; wipe those with a barely damp cloth only.

The range

Finished, or nearly

Everything here arrives assembled. What differs is how much of the work is already done, and whether it comes with something to stand in.

  • Large BouquetsHand-tied and full, 60cm and up. Drops straight into a tall vase and needs nothing adding — the closest thing to a delivered bouquet that does not die.
  • Posies & Small BouquetsUnder 50cm, tied small. A bedside table, a windowsill, a downstairs loo, or a gift that does not need a vase buying to go with it.
  • Table ArrangementsComes with its own vessel, and built low enough to talk over. Set it down once and it is finished.
