Artificial Flowers in a White Vase

Round flowers are surprisingly easy to make look artificial. When every head is the same size and every stem stands at the same angle, the arrangement starts to look like a collection of ornaments rather than a flower display. This design uses contrast instead — larger rounded green forms sit against smaller yellow spheres, with the stems spread at different heights to keep the outline loose.

The green pompom foliage gives the arrangement its main volume. Its dense texture creates a soft sculptural mass, while the smaller yellow billy ball blooms rise above and around it like points of colour. The contrast between the deep green and bright yellow keeps the arrangement simple without making it feel flat.

The vase is part of the composition rather than an afterthought. The white vessel has a clean, sculptural shape that lets the green and yellow colours do the visual work, giving the finished piece a more contemporary feel than a traditional floral basket or decorative jar.

There are four designs in the collection, keeping the same overall green-and-yellow language while varying the placement and balance of the stems. Some versions are fuller and more rounded, while others leave more air around the yellow blooms for a lighter outline. Each arrives already arranged, so there is nothing to cut, wire or style.

Its compact proportions make it particularly easy to place on a console, bedside table, desk, sideboard or coffee table. It works as a small focal point where a larger bouquet would be too heavy, while the sculptural foliage gives it enough shape to stand on its own.

Four designs are available. Heights range from 23–38 cm (9.1–15.0 in), with widths from 30–40 cm (11.8–15.7 in), depending on the design.
