If something is wrong

Damaged, faulty or not as described? Contact us as soon as you can. A photo usually helps us sort it quickly; we will arrange a replacement or refund.

We wanted flowers that would still be beautiful a year from now — not just on the day they arrived.

Why we love it

The anthurium spathe has a distinctive shape, with a raised central rib and fine veins spreading outwards towards its edges. The surface has a softly quilted appearance, with subtle rises and dips between the veins that give each spathe more visual depth. The deep purple colourway brings out this detail particularly well, with darker veins standing against the surrounding colour.

The spadix, which rises from the centre of each spathe, adds another layer of texture. Its small, closely packed surface details and gradual colour change from a lighter base to a warmer tip make it an interesting feature when viewed up close.

The arrangement contains just four main stems, and its simplicity is intentional. Two anthurium spathes sit at different heights, accompanied by a spiked green seed-head spray and a few fine leafy stems. The contrast between the broad flower shapes, upright green accent and delicate foliage gives the bunch a balanced outline without making it feel crowded. It is designed to leave some space around the flowers rather than fill an entire vase.

At 46 cm (18.1 in) high and 28 cm (11.0 in) wide, this compact arrangement works particularly well in a small vase or narrow-necked bottle, including as a display on a bedside table. The stems are already bound at the base, so there is no need to arrange individual pieces.

The vase shown in the photographs is for styling purposes only and is not included. With six colourways to choose from, you can keep the display subtle with softer shades or introduce a stronger accent with the deeper and brighter options.

Your item is carefully packed for shipping. Depending on the design, flowers, leaves or branches may sit close together inside the box. Unpack it gently and adjust only the parts designed to move. Do not force rigid or delicate elements. If anything arrives damaged, email me with a photo.

Gently remove dust with a soft, dry brush or cloth. Suitable cleaning methods depend on the materials and construction of each piece. Avoid harsh cleaning products, prolonged direct sunlight, strong heat and persistent moisture. If you are unsure how to care for a particular design, feel free to email me.

If it arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, contact us as soon as you can. Send a photo if it helps show what happened. We will arrange a replacement or refund. You will not be asked to pay return postage to China for a problem that was not yours; in most cases, nothing needs to come back. Your statutory rights remain unaffected. Changed your mind? Tell us within 14 days of delivery and you have a further 14 days to send it back. For a change-of-mind return, postage to our address in China is at your own cost. You may open and reasonably inspect the piece; altering or using it beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value. For some lower-value items, we may be able to offer a partial refund without asking you to send the item back. This is considered case by case, is not automatic and has no fixed percentage. You can always choose the normal return route instead. View full returns & refunds details.

How to style it

Three simple principles that work across different sizes and types of pieces.

Work with the scale

Use the dimensions on this page as your guide. Depending on its size, the piece can stand alone, join an arrangement or fill a larger space.

Give the shape some room

Leave a little visual space around it so the silhouette, colour and texture can read clearly rather than getting lost among too many objects.

Build on what is already there

Pick up colours or materials already in the room. It helps the piece settle in without forcing it into one particular interior style.

What we look for in a convincing faux piece

A flower, leaf, branch, wreath and arrangement do not need the same construction to look convincing.

So we judge each piece by the result — shape, colour, surface and how it reads in the room — rather than by one material or manufacturing method.

Our standard
What we avoid
Shape & proportion

Natural proportions and slight irregularity suited to the botanical reference

Rigid repetition or shapes that feel unnaturally uniform

Colour

Layered or deliberately varied tones where they support a more natural impression

Flat, uniform colour with little visible depth

Surface

A finish that suits the piece and avoids unnecessary plastic-looking shine

Strong shine or visible seams that draw attention to the construction

Construction

Details and joins are judged by how calm and coherent the finished piece looks

Obvious joins or details that pull attention away from the botanical form

Up close

Details should still feel considered at a normal viewing distance

Only convincing from farther across the room

In the room

The overall shape should sit naturally within an interior

The construction reads more strongly than the botanical effect

What makes us different

We do not choose from a fixed material checklist. We choose by how the whole piece reads, from the first glance to the closer details.

Lime artificial bud vase arrangement of two anthurium and one spiked green stem, held in one hand

Shape first

We start with the overall impression: proportion, movement and silhouette. A flower needs different details from a leaf, branch, wreath or arrangement, so we do not use one quality shortcut for everything.

Pale pink artificial bud vase arrangement of two anthurium and one spiked green stem, held in one hand

Details at a normal distance

Edges, colour transitions, surfaces and visible joins should still feel considered up close. We avoid pieces where one construction detail immediately dominates the botanical effect.

Chosen for the result

One material or manufacturing method is not a quality guarantee for us. What matters is how convincing the finished piece feels, whether it can be shaped where it is designed to move, and whether it can be protected properly for the journey.
