The bridal bouquet
The only flowers photographed on their own, held at chest height, in every shot she keeps. One item, looked at more closely than anything else on the day — this is the one worth spending on.

Bridesmaid bouquets
Usually a size down from the bridal, in the same palette. Order them together with the bridal rather than separately: they come from one batch that way, and one batch is what makes five bouquets look like a set rather than five near-misses.

Buttonholes
For the groom, best man, family members, and both fathers — six to eight is typical. Our buttonholes are supplied without pins, so you can choose the fastening method that best suits your outfit and clothing.

Ceremony and table flowers
Aisle ends, the top table, and one low arrangement per guest table. This is where the quantity is, and where budgets go. Work out your table count first, then decide how much each one gets.

They were, and for a long time they deserved to be. Twenty years ago the only faux flowers you could buy were shiny polyester with a plastic seam down every petal, and everyone in the room could tell from the back row. What changed is the finish: a good petal now has coating rather than print, so the outer edge still passes a little light, and the colour runs deeper towards the throat instead of sitting flat across the head. The honest test is the one we would run ourselves — put one stem in a vase in your kitchen and see how long it takes a visitor to mention it.
Usually, but the saving is not where people expect it. A single bridal bouquet from a UK florist typically runs £120–£250, and if that one bouquet is all you care about, a good florist in season is hard to beat. The saving is on everything nobody photographs — the small pieces, the top table, the aisle ends, one arrangement on every guest table. That is where the quantity is, and where a florist has to charge for perishable stock and same-week labour. We do not.
Yes, and it is the option most people should take. The usual split is real for the bride’s bouquet, artificial for everything that has to survive a whole day of being carried, worn or left in a hot marquee. Match on palette rather than on flower — nobody notices two different roses, everybody notices two different whites.
As early as you like, and that is most of the point. Everything here is in stock, so the only real deadline is delivery, which takes 7 to 12 working days. Six weeks ahead is comfortable and leaves room to change your mind; three weeks is fine; under two weeks we would not risk it for something you cannot replace on the day. Buying in March for a July wedding is not eccentric — store the box somewhere dry and dark and it will be exactly as it is now.
If you order them together, yes — they come from one batch, which is what makes five bouquets read as a set rather than five near-misses. If you order more later, we cannot promise that a batch made months apart will be an identical white, and nobody honestly can. So if there is any chance of a sixth bridesmaid, buy the sixth bouquet now.
This is the part real flowers cannot answer. A bouquet keeps, or gets split between vases, or goes into a box and comes out again the following year. If you would rather not keep them, they resell — there is a steady second-hand market for artificial wedding flowers in the UK, which tells you something about how they hold up.
On the cake, yes, if they sit on a barrier — a thin acrylic disc, or a wrapped stem — rather than touching the icing directly. Ours are not made from food-safe materials, and neither are most real flowers, which is a fact that surprises people.
