Artificial Window Box Flower Arrangement

Artificial window boxes usually fail in one of two ways: the flowers look too uniform, or the greenery underneath is too sparse. These are built more like a planted flower bed, with different heights and leaf shapes working together rather than a row of identical stems.

The flowers are mixed through the greenery instead of sitting in a flat line. Depending on the design, you’ll find roses, daisies, tulip-like blooms and other flowering accents alongside ferns, fine grasses and broad tropical leaves. Taller stems give the arrangement height, while lower foliage fills the base and keeps the planting looking dense from the front.

The clipped faux boxwood base does the practical part. It gives the arrangement a finished rectangular footprint and keeps the greenery dense right down to the bottom, so there is no need to arrange loose stems yourself. The different designs vary in flower mix, colour and overall silhouette, from lighter seasonal combinations to fuller tropical-style planting.

There are seventeen designs in total, with heights ranging from 57–95 cm (22.4–37.4 in) and widths from 45–100 cm (17.7–39.4 in). Because the proportions vary by design, the larger versions work well where a conventional window box would otherwise leave too much empty space, while the narrower designs suit shelves, counters and other long surfaces.

The arrangement is artificial, so there is nothing to water, trim or replace seasonally. It works particularly well in commercial interiors, offices, reception areas, kitchens and living spaces where you want the look of a planted window box without ongoing maintenance.
