What to look for in ceremony and aisle flowers
Work out the real number before you look at prices
Aisle ends, arch pieces and ceremony table flowers are bought in multiples, and the multiple is usually larger than people expect — an aisle dressed on both sides needs twice the rows you counted. Count the actual positions in the venue first, then divide the budget by that number. The per-piece price only means something once you know how many you need.
It has to hold a shape outdoors
These get tied to chairs, wired to an arch and left in whatever weather the day brings, often for several hours before anyone sees them. That makes structure the thing to check rather than delicacy: stems stiff enough to stay where they are put, and a build that will not flatten when it is bound to a post. Fine, soft material that looks best in a vase is the wrong choice here.
Plan what happens to them afterwards
A set of ceremony pieces does not disappear at midnight the way fresh ones do. Because they survive intact, most people either keep some, split them between friends and family, or pass them on. That changes the sums considerably, and it is worth deciding which before the day rather than finding a boot full of arrangements the next morning.
