The short version: what we use and why

A small text file your browser stores between pages, allowing a website to remember information such as your basket contents, language or currency preference. Some cookies are needed for the shop to work properly, while others are used for functions such as analytics, measuring advertising or remembering preferences.

Cart and checkout. WooCommerce sets cookies to remember your basket and maintain your shopping session as you move through the site. Without these, the basket and checkout cannot work properly.

Language and currency. Functional cookies may remember your selected language and currency so those preferences stay in place as you browse.

Payment. When you pay, PayPal may set its own cookies and similar technologies to process payments securely and help detect fraud. These are controlled by PayPal and are covered by PayPal’s own privacy and cookie policies.

Reviews. Our product review features may use functional cookies or similar technologies where needed to support review-related features.

Google Ads. If you allow Marketing, we use Google Ads to understand which adverts lead to a visit or an order and, where enabled, to support advertising audiences and personalisation. Google may process information about your site activity for these purposes. Google Ads only loads after you allow Marketing. For more information, see Google’s privacy information.

We also use enhanced conversions to help Google match an order to an advert. Depending on the details you provide, this can use your email address, name, phone number and address. Email addresses, names and phone numbers are hashed — turned into a coded value — before our shop passes them to Google. Address details, such as street, city, region, postcode and country, may also be included; these are not all hashed. This only runs if you allow Marketing.

Microsoft Clarity. If you allow Analytics, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site, including pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, and session interactions. This helps us understand the site and improve it. Clarity only loads after you allow Analytics. For more information, see Microsoft’s Privacy Statement.

That’s the main picture. We don’t use this site for building our own advertising profiles from cookie data.

We don’t use Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. We don’t sell your information or use cookie data to create our own advertising profiles. Google Ads and Microsoft Clarity are described above rather than being hidden under a general “analytics” or “advertising” category.

You can accept all optional cookies, reject them or choose Analytics and Marketing separately in Cookie Settings. Google Ads only loads after you allow Marketing, and Clarity only loads after you allow Analytics. You can change your choices or withdraw permission there at any time. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser at any time. Blocking essential shopping cookies may prevent the basket, checkout or other parts of the shop from working properly.

If we add or remove a service that changes the cookies or similar technologies used on this site, we’ll update this page so it reflects how the site actually works.
